VT Lottery Night

Good morning all!

After another rain out last Thursday the 8th, we finally got an ALMOST full night of racing in at the track on Sunday the 11th.

We had only managed to complete one practice on Thursday before the rain washed our day away, and the car seemed to be decent enough on speed that we didn't make many changes for the make up date.

We unloaded around mid pack on the charts, and after getting a different set of tires on the car for the end of practice, we felt we had something to work with going into the heat races. We started 3rd, and hung on for a qualified spot into the feature after the car was just too loose. We made a few big adjustments to account for the overcast weather, and fired off p4, where we quickly made our way into 3rd, and then stayed in the top 3 through a slew of cautions until around 5 laps to go, where we lost 3rd after a quick battle, but brought the car home in one piece for our 3rd top 5 of the season!

After a bunch of rain outs, we were happy to finally complete our night of racing, and coming home in one piece is always a bonus!

This coming Thursday, we have another 50 laps of racing on deck, followed by the Williston Touch-A-Truck at Trinity Baptist Church Saturday morning at 10am, and then 50 more laps of action on Sunday.

Be on the lookout for our 7VT Late Model!
